These terms apply to your use of baseballvoices.com and to any order you place with us. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read the section on personalized items carefully, because personalized items are handled differently from everything else we sell.

Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy, and no order is final until we accept it and ship it. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if a price or description was posted in error, or if we cannot verify the order. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
Many of our items are signed, hand-written, or one of a kind. Photographs on the site are representative; because these pieces are made by hand, small variations are normal and are not defects.
Personalized and inscribed items
Several of our items — the scorecards and the hand-written call among them — can be personally inscribed by Pat Hughes to the name of your choice. These terms apply to them:
- Tell us the exact name and spelling you want in the “Add a note to your order” box at checkout. A phone number is required at checkout so that we can call you if anything is unclear before the item is signed.
- If you do not provide personalization details, we may contact you before the order ships. If we cannot reach you, we may ship the item unpersonalized or hold the order until we hear from you.
- We inscribe exactly what you give us. Please double-check spelling, because we cannot correct an inscription once it is written.
- Personalized items are made to order and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless the item arrives damaged, or the inscription does not match what you asked for. That is not us being difficult — an item inscribed to your name simply cannot be resold to anyone else.
- A personalized order can only be changed or cancelled before the item has been inscribed. Call us as soon as possible if you need to make a change.
- Please allow extra time for personalized items, since each one is signed by hand.
Prices and payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include shipping or applicable Illinois sales tax, which are added at checkout. Payment is processed by PayPal, which also accepts major credit and debit cards. We do not see or store your card number.
We try to keep prices and descriptions accurate, but errors happen. If an item is listed at an incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than fill it at the wrong price.
Shipping and delivery
- Shipping within the United States is $5 per order, including Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. Priority Shipping is available for $8.
- We no longer ship to international destinations. If you are outside the United States, please provide a domestic shipping address.
- Orders ship Media Mail from the Chicago area and typically arrive in 4–6 business days. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.
- You are responsible for giving us a correct and complete shipping address. We are not able to refund or replace an order that is lost because of an incorrect address.
Returns and refunds
Returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge plus postage costs. Return shipping is paid by you and shipping charges are not refundable. Personalized items are not returnable, as described above. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can tell you where to ship it. Our full policy is on our Refund and Returns Policy page.
If an item arrives damaged, contact us promptly and we will make it right.
Our recordings and site content
All Baseball Voices CDs are produced under license from Major League Baseball. Major League Baseball game audio, team names, and related marks appear on our products with permission and remain the property of their respective owners.
The audio programs, written material, images, and design on this site are the property of Baseball Voices and its contributors and are protected by copyright. Buying a CD gives you the right to listen to it personally. It does not give you the right to copy, upload, broadcast, stream, or resell the recording, or to use any portion of it in another production, without our written permission.
Using this website
Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, gain unauthorized access to any part of it, use it to send spam, or copy its contents for commercial use. We may suspend access to anyone who does.
This site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of sites we do not run.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The site and its contents are provided “as is.” We make no warranties beyond those required by law. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection laws that cannot legally be waived.
Privacy
Our handling of your personal information, including the phone number collected at checkout, is described in our Privacy Policy at https://baseballvoices.com/privacy-policy/.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
